ONE PEOPLE

Teresa Boino

Thank you very much for clicking on my profile. My name is Teresa and I have nearly 30  years of experience practicing law. I am an Angolan and Portuguese Lawyer, registered to practice law with both bar associations and also have Angolan and Portuguese dual nationality. I began my legal career in private practice in Portugal, completing my training contract at a prestigious local firm in Lisbon.

I subsequently worked as a lawyer at the Social Security Institute under the scope of Labor Law, Administrative Law and Social Security Law. During my time at this important Portuguese public institution I worked closely with the General Directorate of Social Security Regimes, Secretary of State and the Minister of Labor and Social Security.

I then moved back to private practice becoming a partner at BPO Advogados in 2004 where I have remained to this day and in 2014, after becoming the majority equity partner of the firm, we rebranded under our current name Boino & Associados. In 2006 I decided to complete a training contract with a prestigious law firm with wide representation in the Angolan market in order to be fully registered with the Angolan Bar. I have participated  in several seminars organized by ICEP, on different topics of interest to SMEs, with special focus on exports.”
